Welcome to the Country Diner! The diner was founded by Ramsey and Jan, a dedicated couple with a rich history. Though Jan’s full name might be a bit tricky to pronounce, she’s always happy to share its story with you.

The Birth of the Country Diner

Ramsey and Jan are immigrants from Turkey who moved to Spicewood. Jan began working in a local restaurant, where the owner trained her in every aspect of cooking and running the establishment. She eventually took over and managed it for 19 years. Both Ramsey and Jan are proud to be U.S. citizens.

When they became grandparents, Ramsey and Jan decided to move closer to their family in Comfort to enjoy spending time with their grandchildren. Despite being retired, they missed sharing their love of cooking and hospitality, which led to the creation of the Country Diner.

Community and Cuisine

The Country Diner is now a beloved spot for breakfast all day long. Jan and Ramsey are eager to build a strong relationship with the community, offering daily specials from Monday through Friday. You can check out these specials on their Facebook page or website.
