Photos displayed on this Media Kit page may be used without a licensing fee when the use directly promotes, reports on, or tells the story of Comfort, Texas or VisitComfort.us, subject to the terms below.
We want high-quality images of Comfort to be available to legitimate media, writers, organizations, and others who are helping tell people about our community.
Images may be used without a licensing fee in stories, articles, guides, social posts, broadcasts, or other content whose purpose is to promote or provide coverage of Comfort, Texas.
Images may also be used when the content specifically references or promotes VisitComfort.us as a local visitor resource for Comfort.
Newsrooms, publications, writers, bloggers, and other media may use the images in relevant editorial coverage of Comfort, provided the watermark and credit requirements are followed.

Think Digital TX is the preferred photography and media production credit for new Visit Comfort photography and media assets.
Some older images may still carry a Hill Country Photography watermark or credit. Those legacy marks should remain intact when they are already part of the image.
Where an additional logo or graphic credit is appropriate, approved Visit Comfort or Think Digital TX branding may be provided.
Please do not recreate, alter, recolor, stretch, crop, distort, or otherwise modify supplied logos, watermarks, or credit marks.
The free-use permission provided through this Media Kit is intended to help promote Comfort, Texas and VisitComfort.us. It does not give another website, visitor guide, tourism organization, business, publication, or other entity the right to treat these photographs as its own promotional image library.
A photograph may appear on a third-party website when it is being used in legitimate coverage or promotion of Comfort, Texas. However, the photograph may not be used to advertise, brand, promote, build, or enhance another tourism website, visitor guide, commercial service, destination platform, or competing media library without separate written permission.
Use outside the free Comfort-related permission may require a separate commercial license and licensing fee.

No. Permission is non-transferable and non-sublicensable. Another organization that wishes to use the image should obtain permission directly from Visit Comfort.
